MAAK custom plates are novelty items intended for display, show, or front-mount decorative use where permitted. They are not government-issued license plates and may not be used as, or in place of, an official registration plate.
Laws about front license plates, decorative plates, and plate frames vary by state, county, and city. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws where you drive. Some jurisdictions restrict front plates, frames that cover any part of the tag, or plates that obscure official information.
Never use a MAAK plate or frame to cover, obscure, or replace your official license plate, registration sticker, or any state-required information. Doing so may be illegal.
